The Detroit Lions have suffered from the notoriety of becoming the first team in NFL history to lose all sixteen games in a season in 2008. It was a profound year for the Lions, one that subsided them from playoff conversations, descended them down the list of power rankings, and embedded them into the category of deficient management.

Nonetheless, William Clay Ford completed a spectacular transformation within the Detroit Lions organization over the past five years before his recent death. From Matt Millen to Martin Mayhew, to now Bob Quinn, Detroit now has a reason to believe. With radical change, came radical results, and that’s just what Lions’ faithfuls needed.

However, only one player (Don Muhlbach) remain on the Lions’ roster that were with the franchise in 2008. So let’s take a look back at the split paths of the 2008 Detroit Lions squad that once came together to create one of the most scrutinized football teams in NFL history and glance back at their accomplishments since the storied 0-16 season.
